The Refurb Process

Removing  frame & separating the glass

After the screens have been tested we begin the process . iPhone displays and OLED displays are refurbed using different methods .  The first step with iPhone displays is to carefully remove the frame , the screen is then taped up to keep the glass as one piece during the separation process . The glass is then seprated using molybdenum wire .

Removing the polerzier & cleaning

Once the glass has been separated , we remove the polerzier and clean the screen to perfection to ensure a perfect finish. Some companies will try and save the polzerizer , but its often scratched during separation.

Final Stage

The final stage to complete the refurb process is to re-glass the screen . We use the highest quality glass  which the same qualities as the glass from apple such as oleophobic coating and cold pressed frames and same hardness rafting.  The screens are then tested for any imperfections . On the iPhone 6s and onwards we also test the 3D Touch and  home button function. The screens are then packed into bubble bags ready to be dispatched .
